A note from LK Mulligan, head trainer: As an experienced and lifelong equestrian, I am committed to helping riders and sport horses reach their full potential and achieve success in the show jumping and equitation ring. I grew up just south of Denver, Colorado where my grandfather owned and operated a thoroughbred training facility. It was here that I became immersed in the "horse world". A portion of my grandfather's facility was run by Kathy Hobstetter, where she launched her career in teaching, training, and managing successful show jumping operations. Kathy went on to found IJUMP SPORTS after achieving international success as a show jumping trainer; holding several equestrian sport governance titles, and serving as a representative for the United States in the 1996 Olympic Festival as the Deputy Show Jumping Director. Kathy became a lifelong mentor whom I still consider a close friend and colleague. I often consult Kathy on various training techniques and collaborative horse brokering. Upon Kathy's transition to Southern California, I began exclusively training with Paul Rohrbach and Corky Shaha of Wells Bridge Farm, Inc. It was with the guidance of Wells Bridge that I excelled in show jumping and equitation, placing and medalling in several rated circuits throughout Colorado, California and Arizona. My competition history spans from age eight to the present and has gradually progressed from hunter/jumper to equitation, and most notably stadium jumping, which is where I feel most at home and have been most successful. While obtaining my udergraduate degree, my father purchased a 128-acre plot of land minutes-from the Colorado Horse Park, and the inception of Bluebird Equestrian began. I worked closely with my dad to build and develop a successful sport horse training and boarding facility. The original Bluebird Equestrian (West) is where my professional training and teaching career began. I continue to specialize in breaking, starting and developing young sport horses, sales and brokering. Initially, I trained a number of beginner and novice riders. However, my passion and purpose in the equestrian world evolved to cater to established equitation and show jumper riders and their horses of advanced levels. I moved to Tennessee in 2018 with my husband, and through a series of events was thrust back into my dream of facilitating the success of riders alongside their treasured horses. I take pride in my unique approach to training and have unwavering dedication to my clients' progress. Lets share our mutual passion for the multifaceted equestrian sport of english horsemanship! It would be an honor for me to join your process to excellence within this sensational and extraoridinary equine sport. In Gratitude, Lindsey
